TEHRAN: The body of the late Iranian president Ebrahim Raeisi was buried at the holy shrine of Imam Reza (AS) in Mashhad on Thursday night.
The plane carrying the body of the President Ayatollah Ebrahim Raeisi, who martyred in a plane crash in northwestern Iran, arrived at Hasheminejad Airport of Mashhad on Thursday.
The family of Martyr Raeisi also arrived at Mashhad’s Hasheminejad Airport where they were welcomed by a group of officials.
Huge number of people and a group of the servants of Imam Reza holy shrine gathered in Mashhad airport to pay tribute to the martyred president.
