ISLAMABAD ( WNAM REPORT): Azad Kashmir Radio Mirpur shifts back to its original building, damaged during earthquake.
After the necessary repair and renovation work, the building has now been fully restored. The building had become dangerous due to cracks in the walls after the earthquake and the administration had to make temporary arrangements to ensure uninterrupted transmission from the station.The temporary studios, set up in the container, have now been shifted to the original building, and they became functional.
Listeners and members of the civil society of Azad Kashmir have extended their special gratitude to Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar, Secretary Information Shahera Shahid, and Director General Radio Pakistan Saeed Ahmed Shaikh for making the original building operational.
