WNAM MONITORING: The Mejlis of Turkmenistan will hold its next session on April 12, 2025, during which deputies will consider amendments and additions to several national laws and legislative acts, announced Mejlis Speaker Dunyagozel Gulmanova during a Cabinet of Ministers meeting on Friday, according to official state media.
The agenda includes discussions on a new draft of the Law “On the Judiciary,” the law on joining the 1988 Protocol to the 1966 International Convention on Load Lines, and the law on adding provisions to the legislation regarding the commemorative medal for the 300th anniversary of Magtymguly Pyragy.
Parliamentarians will also consider changes and additions to other legal acts, including the laws “On Administrative Procedures,” “On Road Transport,” and “On Migration.”
The government meeting also addressed other matters of national significance, with relevant decisions adopted.
