Though an uneasy TRUCE between Pakistan and India has for the time being silenced their guns but as very rightly put by our Permanent Representative at the UN, hostilities can erupt again between Pakistan and India if core issues between them weren’t solved. The stoppage of water to us amounts to clear violation of Indus Basin treaty and the foreign minister has rightly billed it as red line of Pakistan.
It is, therefore, of paramount importance that the World bank and the UN pull their weight and refrain India from doing so because it would entail serious consequences for world peace.
