WNAM REPORT: The National Day of Azerbaijan will be held in the Avaza tourist zone from August 4 to 8 within the framework of the III UN Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries.
The event aims to present the cultural heritage, artistic traditions and contemporary creative potential of Azerbaijan. The delegation is headed by the Minister of Culture Adil Karimli, and the group includes famous artists of the country.
The Azerbaijani pavilion will feature national crafts, carpet weaving, the art of shebeke, traditional costumes and kelagayis. Visitors will be able to attend master classes and taste national cuisine.
The program includes an international gala concert on August 5 at the opening of the conference, a ceremonial celebration of the National Day of Azerbaijan on August 6 with the participation of famous artists, and a closing concert on August 8.
