Uzbekistan, Poland develop interparliamentary cooperation

WNAM REPORT: It was noted that thanks to the political will of the leaders of the two states and their joint efforts, relations between Uzbekistan and Poland have been actively developing in recent years.

It was emphasized that inter-parliamentary ties play a significant role in the development of bilateral cooperation, and special attention was paid to expanding cooperation in trade and economy, investment, exports, transport, agriculture, science, culture, tourism, and migration.

An initiative was also put forward to increase business contacts between entrepreneurs, and the Interparliamentary Cooperation Groups “Uzbekistan – Poland” and “Poland – Uzbekistan” agreed to pay special attention to supporting and facilitating the investment and trade sectors within the framework of their activities.

Following the meeting, an agreement was reached to develop a specific action plan – a roadmap aimed at deepening cooperation between the parliaments of the two countries, including friendship groups, comprehensive partnership, and mutual exchange of experience.
