WNAM REPORT: An international conference dedicated to the tourism sector of Turkmenistan was held yesterday at the National Pavilion of Turkmenistan at EXPO-2025 in Osaka.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, the main goal of the event was to promote the tourism potential of Turkmenistan in the international arena, strengthen cooperation with Japan, and facilitate interaction between public and private entities in the field of tourism.
Representatives of the Ministry of Trade and Foreign Economic Relations, the Ministry of Culture, and the tourism departments of Turkmenistan and Japan spoke at the forum on behalf of Turkmenistan.
The conference participants became familiar with the state policy of Turkmenistan in the field of tourism, the country’s cultural and historical heritage, ongoing projects and prospects for international cooperation.
As part of the event, bilateral negotiations were held between tourism companies of Turkmenistan and Japan, where opportunities for further cooperation were discussed.
