WNAM Report: A presentation of the book by President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov “Youth is the support of the Motherland” with the participation of representatives of the Turkmen diaspora living in various regions of Pakistan took place at the Embassy of Turkmenistan, Islamabad.

It was highlighted that the work of the head of state, dedicated to the activities and achievements of Turkmen youth in the social, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres, their role in raising the authority of our state on the international arena, is intended to become a reference book for the current and future generation of young Turkmen citizens. The participants highly valued the national youth policy of the President of Turkmenistan, within the framework of which the necessary conditions were created for raising a worthy generation based on the traditions inherited from our ancestors, and comprehensive support being provided to youth, who are the future of our country.

As part of the presentation, an exchange of views took place regarding the announcement of 2024 as the Year of “The Fount of Wisdom Magtymguly Fragi,” which involves holding a number of events at the national and international levels dedicated to the 300th anniversary of the birth of great Turkmen poet. The speakers noted the importance of the creative heritage of the great thinker, which has become an integral part of the treasury of global culture. At the same time, the photographs and videos about the life of the great classic of Turkmen literature were shown to the participants.

At the end  participants were provided with information about the city of Annau, which, by decision of the International Organization of Turkic Culture (TURKSOY), was declared the “Cultural Capital of the Turkic World in 2024.”
