ISLAMABAD ( WNAM REPORT): The Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICCI), in collaboration with Connected Pakistan, successfully hosted Growth Summit-25, bringing together leading entrepreneurs, technology experts, digital innovators, and aspiring startups to discuss pathways for sustainable economic growth through innovation and entrepreneurship.
President ICCI Sardar Tahir Mehmood, who graced the occasion as Chief Guest, while addressing the summit said that Pakistan’s future economic strength lies in technology-driven enterprises, skilled youth, and globally competitive startups. He emphasized that platforms like Growth Summit-25 play a vital role in connecting young entrepreneurs with knowledge, mentorship, and market opportunities.
He stated that Pakistan is blessed with a large youth population, which must be transformed into a productive force through skill development, innovation, and digital enablement. “If we provide the right ecosystem, our youth can build global brands, create employment, and significantly contribute to national exports,” he added.
The ICCI President highlighted that the Chamber is fully committed to promoting IT, startups, SMEs, and digital entrepreneurship, and is actively working to strengthen linkages between industry, academia, and government. He said ICCI’s collaboration with Connected Pakistan reflects a shared vision to foster a digitally connected and innovation-led economy.
Earlier, the summit featured master training sessions by prominent industry experts, including Syed Ahmad, Shahid Iqbal, Hamid Mahmood and Shajeel Afzal focusing on leadership and innovation, high-impact web solutions, international brand building, modern digital commerce, and emerging trends in social and e-commerce platforms. A special interactive session titled “Ask the Millionaires” provided participants with firsthand insights into entrepreneurial journeys and success strategies.
Speaking on the occasion, the organizers from Connected Pakistan appreciated ICCI’s leadership including Dr. Muhammad Usman, Convener ICCI Software Development Committee and Aizaz Mohammad Convener ICCI IT, Telecom and Computer Hardware Committee, stating that such collaborations are essential for empowering startups and accelerating Pakistan’s digital transformation.
The event was attended by Senator Mian Atiq, Vice President ICCI Irfan Chaudhry, hundreds of youth, professionals, ICCI Executives including Mohammad Waseem Chaudhry, Zulqurnain Abbasi، Syed Arslan Shah from Connected Pakistan and ICCI member Israr- ul-Haq Mashwani. The President ICCI also distributed Certificates and souvenirs marking the successful conclusion of Growth Summit-25.
