Greenland is flush with oil and other natural mineral wealth that is why Trump is bent upon occupying it, come what may. Apparently he is giving the impression to the world that he wants occupation of it for security reasons but deep down it is the oil wealth of Green land which he has his eyes on. Another reason which he is advancing is: if America didn’t occupy it either China or Russia would take the initiative and grab it by force
While use of force by America to grab Greenland might not touch off third world war it will however certainly cause a deep division among NATO countries and America and politically isolate Washington further in the world over which both Beijing and Kremlin will be laughing up their sleeves.
