Both Moscow and Beijing are communist countries but there is hell of difference in their brands. China has been blessed with a leadership after 1949، in particular, which is far more farsighted having a lot of political acumen and comprising men of impeccable financial integrity. Above all it isn’t whimsical and in international affairs. it takes every step very cautiously. By keeping itself aloof from the animosity of Moscow and Washington and concentrating its entire attention on overall development of China, in every field of life. Beijing today has extended its political influence and spread its economic tentacles in almost all the continents of the world including even some countries of Latin America to boot. China, unlike Soviet Union didn’t fritter away its energies by raising military alliances like the Warsaw pact to counter America or invading many countries.
Since Moscow didn’t get strong leadership after the demise of Stalin, the American CIA took advantage of it and easily broke the Soviet empire. The emergence of Putin on the political stage of the Kremlin however halted the rot that had set in Soviet empire after the death of Stalin. Putin was intelligent to cuddle up to Beijing as a result of which a strong communist bloc has emerged on the world stage and made Russia strong politically also.
One wonders why the Soviet leaders who came to power in the Kremlin after the death of Stalin up to the emergence of Putin on the Soviet union political stage didn’t put a stiff resistance to the conspiracy of the American CIA to dismember Soviet Union.
Today the leadership of Communist bloc is in the hand of China and not Russia which has weakened after the dismemberment of the Soviet Union. The coming century belongs to it rather than to any other super power.
