CENTCOM announced that the US blockade prevented the oil tanker from reaching an Iranian port

U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) announced that it had blocked the passage of an oil tanker due to the U.S. blockade of Iranian ports.

WNAM REPORT: CENTCOM’s US-based company, X, issued a statement on the matter via its social media account.

The statement noted that the M/T Stream crude oil tanker was prevented from reaching a port in Iran by the guided missile destroyer USS Rafael Peralta.

CENTCOM’s statement on April 26 said that 37 ships had been turned back due to the US blockade of Iranian ports.

Following the failure of negotiations with Iran in Pakistan, US President Donald Trump announced that they would initiate the process of blockading the Strait of Hormuz.

CENTCOM had also announced that the US blockade of Iranian ports was supported by more than 10,000 troops, as well as dozens of warships and fighter jets.
