WNAM REPORT: A meeting with a delegation from the Research Institute for Nuclear Problems of Belarusian State University was held at the Scientific and Technical Center for Radiation and Nuclear Safety under the Committee for Industrial, Radiation and Nuclear Safety.
The parties discussed developing cooperation in nuclear safety, exchanging experience, and implementing joint projects. The aspects of conducting nuclear safety expertise and improving regulatory and legal regulation in this area were considered.
The parties reached an agreement to continue practical cooperation.
During the two-day visit to Uzbekistan, representatives of the Belarusian delegation presented on the activities of their organization and the scientific-technical support system for the state nuclear safety supervision authority of the Republic of Belarus.
In addition, detailed information was provided on the RADUGA-EU software package designed for modeling and analyzing nuclear processes.
