WNAM MONITORING: Representatives of Samarkand tourism sector are participating in the international tourism exhibition in London.
This exhibition, held annually in one of the largest exhibition centers in Birmingham, brings together representatives of transport companies, hotels, resorts, amusement parks, and other tourism organizations in Europe and the world.
At the initiative of the Tourism Committee, representatives of Uzbekistan are also taking part in the exhibition and presenting information on the development of tourism in Uzbekistan, especially in Samarkand, as well as on simplifying visa procedures.
The event also included a presentation “Samarkand – the tourist gateway of the New Uzbekistan” at the Embassy of Uzbekistan in London to attract tourists from the United Kingdom and Ireland to Uzbekistan.
Deputy Head of Samarkand Regional Tourism Department Dilshod Narziqulov informed participants about the rich culture and attractions of Samarkand. A masterclass on cooking pilaf was held.
