WNAM MONITORING: The Ambassadors of Central Asia and Azerbaijan to Pakistan, at the invitation of the Gujranwala Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Gujranwala Business Center, took part in a number of events in the city of Gujranwala.
In the city of Gujranwala, the Ambassadors of Central Asia and Azerbaijan met with the leadership and members of the city Chamber of Commerce and Industry. During the meeting, the parties discussed ways to expand trade and economic relations and establish contacts between chambers of commerce and industry, as well as issues of enhancing cooperation between small and medium-sized businesses of the countries.
The Turkmen side emphasized the importance of the participation of entrepreneurs in exhibitions and forums, which will also help attract mutually beneficial investments and familiarize themselves with the production and export potential of the markets of the countries of the region and Pakistan.
The meeting participants were informed about the major interstate infrastructure projects initiated by the leadership of Turkmenistan, which will make a huge contribution to strengthening peace and ensuring sustainable development in the region and the world. Particular attention of the participants was drawn to the UN General Assembly resolution “2025 – International Year of Peace and Trust” adopted at the initiative of Turkmenistan and the “Concept of Activities and Priorities of Turkmenistan within the framework of the International Year of Peace and Trust”. It was noted that this resolution and concept are calls to all inhabitants of the earth to seek ways to peacefully resolve existing international conflicts and prevent the emergence of new ones.
Then the ambassadors of Central Asia and Azerbaijan continued their program by participating in the opening ceremony of the Central Asia and Azerbaijan Trade facilitation desk in the premises of Gujranwala Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Then the guests visited the exhibition “Made in Gujranwala”, organized by the Gujranwala Business Center, where they got acquainted with various products manufactured in the region.
During the events, the Ambassador of Turkmenistan gave an interview to a number of local media outlets, highlighting the enormous potential for trade and economic cooperation between our countries.
