WNAM REPORT: Representatives of the Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Bangkok took part in the ceremonial presentation of the Royal Peacock Thai Silk Expo at the invitation of Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn of Thailand.
As part of the event, the Uzbek diplomats presented the princess with five encyclopedic volumes about Uzbekistan for her library. The editions – “Etudes of Ancient Bukhara”, “Patterns of Registan”, “Khiva”, and “Traditional Uzbek Costumes” (in two volumes) – offer rich insights into the history, culture, and traditions of the Uzbek people.
During a conversation with the Uzbekistan delegation, Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn warmly recalled her visit to Bukhara in 2005, noting the heartfelt hospitality and vivid impressions from the trip. In turn, the Uzbek side invited the princess to visit Uzbekistan again.
