Foreign Ministers of Algeria and Pakistan discussed promotion of bilateral relations

WNAM REPORT: Bilateral meeting between the Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs, the National Community Abroad, and African Affairs, Mr. Ahmed Attaf and the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan, Mr. Muhammad Ishaq Dar in Amman (Jordan) .

On the occasion of his participation in the ministerial meeting “In Support of Jerusalem and its Holy Sites” of the Arab Ministerial Committee tasked with international action to confront illegal Israeli policies and measures in occupied Jerusalem, held in the Jordanian capital, Amman, the Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs, the National Community Abroad, and African Affairs, Mr. Ahmed Attaf, held a bilateral meeting with the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan, Mr. Muhammad Ishaq Dar.

During this meeting, the two ministers reviewed the state of Algerian-Pakistani relations and agreed to redouble efforts to strengthen them in all areas by activating bilateral cooperation frameworks as soon as possible.

At the international and regional levels, the two sides discussed various current issues of common interest, particularly the Palestinian issue and the situation in the Gaza Strip, in addition to Pakistan’s mediation efforts to de-escalate tensions in the Middle East.
