WNAM MONITORING: President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a meeting with the Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), and Minister of Presidential Affairs of the UAE, Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, in Ashgabat.

Expressing gratitude for the warm welcome, Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan conveyed the heartfelt greetings from the President of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and from the Vice President of the UAE, Prime Minister, Minister of Defense, and Ruler of Dubai, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan emphasized that the UAE attaches great importance to the development of fruitful cooperation with fraternal Turkmenistan, which has proven itself as a reliable and responsible partner.

The Head of State conveyed warm greetings and best wishes in return to the leadership of the United Arab Emirates and highlighted that the countries have years of experience and a solid potential for interaction, serving as a strong foundation for further growth and diversification of effective ties with new specific content.

During the meeting, there was an interested exchange of opinions on key directions of cooperation, demonstrating positive dynamics. It was noted that contacts at the highest level play a special role in strengthening Turkmen-Emirati relations.

The parties also emphasized that cooperation in the fields of science, education, culture, as well as sports, and the organization of joint events in this direction are important factors for bringing the two peoples closer together, strengthening the bonds of friendship and mutual understanding between them.

At the end of the meeting, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov and Vice President Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan expressed confidence that productive interstate relations will continue to actively develop for the common good. The Head of State and the distinguished guest exchanged best wishes for each other and the fraternal peoples of both countries.

On the same day, National Leader of the Turkmen people, the Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov met with the Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, and Minister of Presidential Affairs of the United Arab Emirates Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
