WNAM MONITORING: Tashkent will host the next meetings of the Joint Turkmen-Uzbek Commission and the Business Council on July 15-16 of this year, said Batyr Atdayev, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan for Trade Complex and Textile Industry, during a regular online government meeting on Friday.
According to the official media of Turkmenistan, the Deputy Prime Minister added that the events will also feature a Made in Turkmenistan product exhibition.
The activities are to be conducted in accordance with the Plan of Joint Activities for Further Development of Cooperation between Turkmenistan and the Republic of Uzbekistan for 2023-2024 (Roadmap), adopted to implement agreements reached at the highest level.
President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov instructed thorough preparations for the 18th meeting of the Joint Turkmen-Uzbek Commission on Trade-Economic, Scientific-Technical, and Cultural Cooperation, as well as the upcoming session of the Turkmen-Uzbek Business Council, and emphasized the organized presentation of a national exhibition of domestic products.
The government meeting also addressed a range of other state affairs.
