WNAM MONITORING: The International Scientific Conference TESC 2025, focused on the environmental aspects of hydrocarbon extraction, will be held June 5 in Ashgabat, coinciding with World Environment Day, as reported by Turkmen Energy Scientific Conference (TESC).
Organized by Turkmenistan’s state concerns Türkmengaz and Türkmennebit, the conference aims to serve as a platform for sharing expertise, presenting innovations, and strengthening global partnerships in sustainable energy. Its theme, “Reliable, Sustainable, Clean Energy,” reflects a commitment to an environmentally responsible future.
Representatives from international organizations including the United Nations, OSCE, World Bank, EBRD, Asian Development Bank, the Gas Exporting Countries Forum, International Energy Agency, and IRENA have been invited to attend. Government officials, scientists, business leaders, and environmental advocates will also participate.
The event will focus on formulating concrete actions to reduce the environmental impact of hydrocarbon production. Last year’s forum gathered 250 delegates from 31 countries.
Participation is free, and visa support will be provided to international attendees. Registration is now open on the official TESC 2025 website.
