Pakistan Army chief deserves hosannas for conducting short war with India in a very unemotional, dignified and calculated manner due to which he rightly earned accolades for his Army from the defence experts round the world. It was proved once again, if any proof was needed that among the Muslim countries in particular and other countries of the world in general Pakistani Armed Forces occupy a place of honour as they are par excellence professionally.
It must have dawned on India now that Pakistan is a hard nut to crack and before embarking on any similar misadventure in future against Pakistan it will think twice. The war under review shattered the myth that quality of western technology is superior to that of China. The French planes under use by the Indians were beaten by the Chinese built war planes all ends up.
Let us hope that in the forthcoming talks between India and Pakistan the civilian leadership of the country would not lose what the armed forces have won on the battle ground and make India honour the Indus basin treaty hook line and sinker and also force New Delhi to allow the UN to hold probe into Pehalgam shootout of alleged terrorists for ascertaining the actual culprits behind the said episode.
