The uncertain living conditions in Arab Emirates owing to ongoing Iran US war is making foreign business tycoons there to wind up their businesses which is going to not only affect the economies of these countries but is likely to result in the return to their country of a big labour force belonging to Pakistan now working there to earn bread and butter thus aggravating present unemployment position of Pakistani youth back home.

Khawaja Asif’s statement that playing host to Afghan nationals was, perhaps, the biggest blunder committed by us during the last 78 years is no doubt a very harsh statement but come to think of it. Kabul has always given preference to New Delhi over Islamabad since 1947. Monarchs, communists and religious zealots have been moving in the corridors of power in Kabul since 1947 and all of them had one thing in common and that was soft corner for India. All of them proved themselves to be fast friends of India . How can Pakistan forget their playing second fiddle to India and trying to foment trouble in the tribal belt of Pakistan in their attempt to buy political loyalties of some leading tribal chieftains of erstwhile FATA . They failed in their mission because all and sundry ,the common tribesmen saw through the hidden designs of their tribal elders and refused to listen to them.
