The leadership of both former Soviet Union and China has been Marxist but where the Chinese leaders could deliver goods for the amelioration of the lot of teeming millions of their country’s have nots, who didn’t know where their next meal was going to come from, the Soviet leaders could not deliver even a fraction of them to their people.
The political training imparted by the Chinese leaders like Mao Tse Tung and Chou en Lai to the rank and file Chinese communist party workers was far superior and effective than the one imparted by the Russian leadership to its comrades. Those who ran the Kremlin for a long time after the demise of Lenin were not farsighted persons, otherwise, Soviet empire would not have collapsed like the house of nine cards. Today Putin, no doubt, has been going the whole hog in his efforts aimed at the renaissance of the broken Soviet Union but it is going to be an uphill task to rejoin the broken fragments of the erstwhile Soviet empire at this belated stage.

Many Political observers believe that it would be well nigh impossible for Trump to win the next Presidential election due to his faulty policies. They say America’s track record of wars in Asia has been dismal and it has never won any war in Asia. They point out Vietnam, Cambodia and Afghanistan where the Americans could not carry the day.
