Ignoramus leaders putting their foot in their mouth

After the conclusion of first world war and creation of the UN many political observers thought that history won’t repeat itself and the super powers before starting any new military adventure will think twice and not forget overall devastation caused by the first world war but it seems that like the Bourbons they have learnt and forgotten nothing otherwise Trump and Putin would not have treaded a very dangerous path over Ukraine. Likewise Washington would never have adopted the present stance over Taiwan and neither have Iran and US locked their horns in the middle east. The world today needed farsighted statesmen like Roosevelt,  Mandela,  Churchill, Marshal Tito, de Gaulle to mention a few and not whimsical leaders like Trump , Putin and their likes who have been pushing their countries to the edge of the precipice .  They have proved themselves ignorant of the lessons of history.
