In the suburbs of Peshawar cantonment lies a village known as Nawah Kali which is considered to be a factory having produced many prodigees in the game of squash during the past century like Hasham Khan, Azam Khan, Roshan Khan ,Hiddy Jehan, Mohibullah Khan ,Jehangir Khan Jansher Khan and Qamar zaman . There is no gainsaying the fact that the world of squash hasn’t seen the likes of these geniuses again.
There are umpteen TV channels operating in the country today. It would be better if any one of them produce a documentary film on every one of them which should be telecast every year on their birthday so that the new generation of Squash players got the hang of these players who should be treated by them as their role models. Needless to add that British open squash tournament which is being played since long in London every year is considered to be the ace squash tournament like Wimbledon is considered to be prestigious tennis tournament in the world of sports
