After an hiatus of a couple of years the national carrier of Pakistan, PIA is back in the business and hopefully will reoccupy its lost position in international ranking where once it was included in the six best airlines of the world but in order to bounce back its new management will have to follow hook line and sinker the standard fixed during the stint as its chairman by Air Marshal Asghar Khan and Nur khan when its planes flew in time, when merit and merit alone was the criterion for recruitment of its staff when it wasn’t overstaffed.

Many political observers as well as health department officials are of the view that the federal government in Islamabad had better put into effect a public health care system akin to NHS. System enforced by Britain as of all health care systems being experimented with in the world NHS seems to be the best for the common man.
