WNAM REPORT: Turkish manufacturing company Karmod said its portable toilet cabins were used at the Marisco Festival in Olhao, a fishing town in southern Portugal.
Karmod Cabin General Manager Zekai Kucuk said the ready-to-use toilet cabins offer a practical solution for events like festivals.
He noted that the demand for their durable and easy-to-use lavatories and kiosk cabins has been growing in southern European countries, particularly for festivals.
“We have started receiving requests for our toilet shower cabins, which are widely used on construction sites, industrial facilities, and parks as well as festivals,” he said.
Recalling that Karmod’s kiosk cabins were used as ticket booths at a festival in the Canary Islands, Spain in April, Kucuk said the company’s toilet cabins “will be used at the Marisco Festival in Olhao, Portugal, which is held annually in the second week of August and features competitions involving seafood dishes.”
“For this project, we produced our toilet units in a dual-unit panel cabin system with dimensions of 135×210 cm. The structures consist of 12 cabins, some of which include shower units,” Kucuk added.
He also highlighted the wide range of custom toilet cabin models available, tailored to different needs.
“We produce toilet cabins in both standard and luxury categories for use on construction sites and in factories. We also offer aesthetically pleasing models for social facilities, city squares, parks, and national parks,” he added.
